PRIVACY POLICY
We keep only the data needed to make the music service work.
Heavier does not require an account. We do not collect your name, contact details, contacts, location, health data, or payment information. We do not show ads or track you across apps or websites.

1. Scope and operator
This policy applies to the Heavier iOS app, developed and operated by Shen Yue. If the App Store product page identifies a different legal entity, the product-page information controls.
2. Data we process
Random installation identifier
On first launch, the app creates a random UUID and stores it in the iOS Keychain. It contains no name, phone number, Apple ID, advertising identifier, or device serial number. It is sent with music-service requests.
Music requests and job records
These may include vocal mode, normal or boost catalog type, known music-bundle IDs, job status and time, titles, BPM, file checksums, and the AI provider's request ID. They are used to generate, resume, verify, and download music and to avoid returning the same bundle.
Necessary technical logs
Cloud infrastructure may process IP address, request time and path, response status, and error details for security, troubleshooting, and service availability. We do not use these details to determine or store your precise location.
On-device cache
Generated music is stored in the app's protected local directory, capped at 48 normal tracks and 16 gravity-boost tracks, and excluded from iCloud backup. Listening history and the two daily boost uses remain on device. Deleting the app normally removes local files; the random identifier may remain because of iOS Keychain behavior.
3. Data we do not collect
The current app does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, precise or approximate location, health or fitness data, payment information, browsing history, or search history. It does not access Apple Music or other music-account data.
4. How data is used
- Generate, resume, verify, and download AI-created music;
- avoid duplicate generation or delivery and enforce limited-beta service quotas;
- protect the API, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and maintain availability; and
- maintain normal and gravity-boost playback caches on the device.
We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, marketing, or sale.
5. AI music and service providers
Our Alibaba Cloud server starts music-generation jobs through Atlas Cloud using the MiniMax music-generation service. The AI provider receives style instructions, original lyrics, or other generation parameters, but not the app's random installation identifier. Each provider may process necessary data under its own terms and privacy policy.
6. Storage location and retention
Server-side operational data and generated music are stored in Alibaba Cloud's Hong Kong region. Complete files under data/ are configured for automatic deletion 30 days after their last modification; incomplete upload fragments are deleted after seven days. Normal cloud lifecycle-processing delays may apply. The local cache rolls over at 48 normal and 16 boost tracks.
7. Sharing, sale, and tracking
We use the service providers above only as needed for cloud hosting and AI music generation. We do not sell personal data, share it with advertisers or data brokers, or combine app data with data collected elsewhere for advertising tracking.
8. Your choices
You may stop using or delete the app to clear its local music cache. Server files are removed under the retention rules above. Because Heavier has no account and does not collect your name or contact details, we generally cannot locate a random installation record using your real-world identity alone. For a privacy question or deletion request, contact us below and mention “Heavier privacy request.”
9. Children's privacy
Heavier is not designed specifically for children and does not knowingly collect children's identifying information. Contact us if you believe such information has been processed unintentionally.
10. Security and updates
We use HTTPS, server-side secrets, restricted cloud-storage permissions, and file-integrity verification. No internet service can promise absolute security. If our data practices materially change, we will update this page, its effective date, and the App Store privacy disclosure where required.
